My friends Huy and Joe (who I stayed with) took me here my second and one of the only free nights I had while in New York (those of you familiar with my travels will remember that I stayed with Huy and Joe during my last visit to New York as well). Huy's sister Phuong was also visiting that evening, so the four of us decided to head here after dinner. It was an interesting place - random people just walked in with their guitars, and what not, and began/joined in on a little bluegrass/acoustic jam session. It was really great! |
YES... I hunted down and took a picture of a Sephora store in New York! Ugh, I'm a fan, oKAY??? |
When you enter this room, it's like you've entered an arcade... except you're in one of the video games. As soon as you walk in, a little light shows up on the grid above you and follows you throughout the room. If your light comes in contact somehow with another light, magic ensues. |

I don't mean to offend anyone when I say this... but I find it interesting that, both in Los Angeles and in New York, the Church of Scientology has set up shop in areas frequented by those in the entertainment industry (professional and aspiring alike). It really makes you wonder... |

A Vampy Devil and a 1930s Paper Boy (or Oliver Twist, depending on his mood). Not too shabby for something we threw together at the last minute. |
